Dear Voces Pacis Singers,
Dr. Brown and I have been invited to serve as featured conductors for the 2027 Sweden Residency with MidAmerica Productions with a Festival Chorus of singers from around the country. For the information brochure from MidAmerican click the link below:
We selected to perform two pieces one of which (the Taylor Scott Davis Magnificat) was on one of our recent programs.
The total price for the 7 night / 8 day is less than $4000 - not including flights or travel insurance (which we highly encourage you to get BOTH). You would be responsible for your own flights which means you can select your own seats, use points, upgrade and so forth! The way the residency is structured, is all in one hotel for the duration of the trip within walking distance of rehearsals, performances, restaurants and shopping. The venues for the two concerts are spectacular and the audiences in Sweden are very enthusiastic and supportive. Did we mention that the average temperature is in the 70s that time of year?!
We have heard feedback from our prior trips regarding scheduling, length, cost, amount of singing on the trip, etc. and have done our best to provide a trip that you simply will NOT want to miss! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE for cancellations and are NON-TRANSFERRABLE.
If the trip is cancelled by MidAmerica, MidAmerica will provide full refunds.
The rate for performers and non-performers are the same.
For non-performers - While singers are in rehearsals there will not be organized group activies. There are shops and restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.
Check the trip brochure for possible tours/excursions that are built in to the trip. We will provide a more finalized schedule once the trip is confirmed and we have details from MidAmerica.
The deadline for Voces Pacis Travelers to pay the initial $400 deposit through the portal (that will be sent via email) is September 1, 2026.
WAIT TO BOOK NON-REFUNDABLE AIRFARE UNTIL THE TRIP IS CONFIRMED. This will likely be in November 2026.
The portal will be defaulted for SINGLE OCCUPANCY, if you wish to have double occupancy, email Madison at MidAmerica (email will be provided in materials after you submit the interest form) BEFORE paying a deposit.
DBU STUDENTS SHOULD NOT EXPECT TO PAY OUTSIDE OF DBU TO ATTEND THIS TRIP. DBU will provide information and a payment schedule through DBU channels. DBU Students interested can contact Dr. Brown through his DBU email!
Travel Insurance is highly recommended/encouraged and should be purchased by each invidivual outside of any payments made to MidAmerica.
